| Effies |
The Effies are awards established by the American Marketing Association that recognise and reward advertising effectiveness at national and regional level. SLIM, the national body of marketers, have signed up with the American Marketing Association to introduce the prestigious Effies to Sri Lanka. Judd labarthe, Chairman, Asia Pacific Effies, will be in Sri Lanka on October 2nd to address marketers and advertisers on the awards.
The most important criteria for judging advertising in the eye of the marketer is effectiveness. Winning an Effie will undoubtedly be an ideal opportunity for advertising agencies to show how they can add value to businesses.
Regional awards include Asia Pacific Effies and Euro Effies, while Effies India, Effies Singapore, Effies Hong Kong are a few of the country awards. The Effies Sri lanka will be held in association with 4As and preliminary discussions have already been held. |
